Additionally, Korean Air offers comprehensive wheelchair services for passengers with reduced mobility. Assistance begins at the origin airport and continues to the destination, including onboard wheelchair availability. Passengers using their own wheelchairs must request services in advance, especially for oversized or electric models, ensuring proper handling and compliance with airline regulations.
Refund & Cancellation
Korean Air permits passengers to request refunds for flight tickets within 30 days of expiration by contacting their ticket agency. Refunds are available only to the passenger and may require additional documents if processed through a representative. Combined fares follow the most restrictive refund penalties, and award or group tickets have separate terms.
Refund penalties for international flights vary based on cancellation timing, with exemptions for requests made 91 days prior, involuntary refunds, or unused tickets within 24 hours of purchase.
Domestic flight refunds incur fees depending on fare class . Certain unused domestic tickets and involuntary refunds are exempt from penalties.
